Carmen has 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, she is cross-culturally experienced, having worked in top-tier international private bank, investment banks, and accounting firm in Hong Kong and Singapore. Carmen is a passionate and enthusiastic coach, adopting a gently aggressive style. She relates to her clients with empathy and inspires them with her authenticity. She empowers positive sustainable change to maximize one’s full potential from within. She is a practical corporate architect with experience in partnering with leaders and managers to develop themselves and their teams. Over the past 6 years of coaching practice, and being an ICF PCC, Carmen coached more than 500 individuals with over 1,100 coaching hours. She is also a mentor coach and a Shared Leadership Team Coach. In 2019, Carmen partnered with a well-established U.S. coaching training provider and coached 9 senior leaders from one of the Fortune 50 MNCs across their Asia-Pacific offices, a total of 36 individual coaching hours. Carmen has been partnering with a U.S. and a European startup coaching platforms, offering professional coaching services supporting more than 450 clients from over 150 companies across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. She also provided reverse mentoring to her senior management, coached her directs, as well as being a top performer in her previous operations director role. Carmen is an active member in providing pro-bono 1:1 and team coaching to the community and non-profit organizations, and volunteer mentorship to young professionals. All these demonstrated her passion and strengths in developing others. EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS Carmen holds Dual Master's Degrees in Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Science in Financial Analysis from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), as well as a Certified Public Accountant (HKICPA) qualification in Hong Kong. She also recently completed her PMP 40-hour certification Project Management exam preparation training in March 2023.
