I work with senior leaders, coaches, supervisors, and teams to deepen their reflective capacity, unlock hidden strengths, and surface unconscious patterns, by embracing presence, the courage to pause, the wisdom of not knowing, and leading from what matters most. Together, we create workplaces where leadership emerges at every level, and people tap into their innate wisdom and creativity in service of something greater than individual achievement. This approach enables exceptional business outcomes while creating the conditions for truly transformational coaching and supervision that benefit both individuals and the wider system. I am an accredited coaching supervisor and Senior Practitioner with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC), bringing over two decades of contemplative and professional experience into my practice. My diverse background spans technical support management, a degree in artificial intelligence, and 15 years as a Buddhist monk. This rare combination of disciplines gives me a unique lens on leadership, transformation, and systemic change. Drawing on my deep understanding of solitude, uncertainty, and the power of reflection, I support leaders in aligning their work with their life’s true purpose, enhancing their effectiveness as global stewards and evolving leadership culture in organizations and society. Through the PlayfulMonk approach, which I developed, I help individuals and teams build their capacity for self-reflection, manage personal and group tensions, develop ethical awareness, and stay calm and connected in complex, high-pressure environments. Currently, I serve as the part-time Head of Faculty and Leadership at Blend Associates, where I support senior executives and teams within the UK’s National Health Service to navigate the emotional and systemic challenges of leadership in times of change and stress. With compassion, clarity, and courage, I walk alongside those who lead, to help them live and lead from presence, purpose, and possibility.
I worked for over 20 years in the fashion industry. From 1995 to 2001 I lived and worked in Denmark at the corporate clothing company Bestseller A/S contributing to the launch of the brand O.N.L.Y. In my Coaching sessions clients can experience different way of thought stimulations, f.ex. Inner game, Voice dialogue, Systemic constellations, Neuro-agility tools, etc. I have written 4 books on Coaching and developed together with Franco Rossi an innovative Coaching model . I feel to be particularly effective with clients who are seriously posing to oneself essential questions such as who they really are, what is the real meaning of their professional activity and privat life. I think over the Emotional Intelligence there is the Spiritual Intelligence, which includes all human intelligences. According to my Coaching model goals are means not the purpose. The ultimate purpose is the evolutive mobility of the client.

I am an Executive Coach, Facilitator, Consultant, and Independent Trainer, operating under the brand "Verdemeta." In my most recent career, I developed the projects "Transition Space," a network of professionals working on Change, and the newly launched "Ecora," which focuses on an ecosystemic approach. Since 2000, and for about 15 years, I worked in the field of people development within companies, dealing with recruitment and training, and supporting individuals from their hiring throughout their entire development journey. Through this experience, I became increasingly involved in themes such as self-realization within one's context, the well-being of interpersonal relationships, and the effectiveness of achievement. At the peak of my corporate journey, I felt the need and desire to combine everything I had accomplished in my professional life with my love for Nature, leading me to encounter Ecopsychology. I specialized in corporate coaching and sought to merge the two experiences by creating "Green Coaching" and the "Verdemeta" brand. These experiences, combined with coaching based on the Positive Psychology approach, define my style, which focuses on developing and enhancing strengths and solution-oriented strategies, increasing awareness and personal transformation, and broadening individuals' perspectives towards goals rooted in existential and systemic themes that significantly impact achievement and performance. Today, I work as an Executive Coach, Team Coach, Facilitator, Consultant, and Group coach to help people and organizations maximize their potential and find their systemic balance. I am also the author of the book "Nature Speaks to You - A Guide to Ecocentric Personal Growth."

Hi, my name is Yasu. Nice to meet you! Let me self-introduce. With 25+ years’ professional experience in branding, marketing communication, business innovation and leadership development, I customize my intervention while blending teaching, coaching and torching my clients for new business creation and organizational change. I am currently a founder / representative director of Tokyo-based innovation boutique firm since its establishment in 2016, leading projects both with international and domestic clients to generate creative business ideas while nurturing entrepreneurial and innovative talents whom I call “The Playful Ants” within the client team. I also have been working as a partner faculty of Globis School of Management since 2020, delivering customized executive education programs to approximately 500 business leaders and managers every year. Talking about my early career over 10 years, I worked at PwC (Consultant), Interbrand (Strategic Planner) and Saatchi & Saatchi (Planning Director). Then, I decided to go on to MBA program at Cornell University, NY, with my wife and a daughter. I majored in sustainable global enterprise immersion with focus on market creation strategies and creative design. After the graduation, I was unexpectedly offered the job to work within Cornell as an internal consultant. I took the offer and have been also working as Managing Director of Market Creation Strategies at the Center for Sustainable Global Enterprise at the Johnson Graduate School of Management, Cornell University, where I developed and supervised business innovation projects in Japan, US, India, Bangladesh, Philippines, Mozambique and Nigeria through creative and sustainable solutions for both international and Japanese clients. In my past projects, I experienced many successes, but honestly speaking, more failures even with the clients which had great resources. From my experiences, I realized what's truly important is not just to develop the great product idea and business plan, but also to develop the great talents and culture within the clients. That's how I decided to incorporate business coaching technique into my projects. I wanted to back up my practical business coaching with academic theory and knowledge, so I completed my Executive Master in Change program at INSEAD in 2019. After that, I have been working on my executive PhD program in organizational psychology at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam since 2021 with my research theme in “Play in Organization.” My recent publication includes “Identity Playground in Organization: Encouraging intrapersonal heterogeneity while controlling interpersonal heterogeneity”, Academy of Management Proceedings, Vol. 2023. Also, I published my first book “The Playful Ants ‒ the Way of Work and Life of Boundary-Spanning Talents who Change the Society in Small and Playful Ways” (EB publishing) in December 2022. I believe the power of teaching (sharing new framework / knowledge), coaching (navigating autonomous action) and torching (motivating and encouraging people) and customize the solution mixing those approaches through dialogue with the clients. So, if you are interested in discussing how we can work together to make meaningful impacts for your organization, please feel free to reach out to me!
