In a nutshell: 15 years in the humanitarian sector mostly in top management, specializing in team empowerment and resource optimization within high-stakes environments. Now based near Bergamo, Italy, I continue my commitment to impactful change through individual coaching (my passion!) and climate-focused consultancy. In more details: As far as I remember, I had no idea where I was heading. With a generalist training from a French business school, I ended up working in a clutch factory, lost in an industrial polygon near the Madrid suburbs, which as a non-Spanish-speaker proved quite the experience. 2 years later, rather than getting promoted to an office job paving the way for a bright and respectable future, I joined the ranks of MSF (doctors without borders). Without notice, I got sent to Haiti while the earth was still shaking from the 2010 earthquake. A life-changing moment, on all levels. I experienced the field, the people, the thrill. 3 missions and a few security situations later, I went back to HQ in Paris. We then moved to Senegal for 5 years, participating in the rise of Alima (an MSF-like NGO). The day we got back to Europe as our 3rd child was close to join the family, I said “no more finance unless msf opens a great job in Barcelona”. 3 month later I started as finance director of MSF in Barcelona. Further away from the field, still close to people, but in need for more. During lockdown 2020, that urge materialized when I discovered deep-breathing… which led me to sign up for a master’s degree in emotional intelligence and coaching. How does coaching respond to my aspirations? It's at the same time a work of art (ritual, improvisation, flow), a balance (trust space, continuous self-learning) and a social commitment (one to one qualitative experience, pro bono, accompanying others). During sessions we create quality spaces, through trust and active listening: building these experiences is an exciting way to serve. I moved to Italy to write a new life chapter, during which I get back, through coaching, to the kind of excitement I felt at the beginning of my humanitarian path.

Angeline
Kaohsiung, Kaohsiung, Taiwan
Languages: English

My name's Angeline, and I am an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coaching Federation (ICF). I am also a certified Holistic Life, Career & Executive Coach, and help working professionals get to the next level in their career. Perhaps an employee feels stuck in what they're doing and would like to try something different, or perhaps they have the potential or desire to get to the next level or move to a different role but aren't quite sure how. I can work with them to get more clarity in where it is they want to get to, how to get there, and work together (and hold them accountable) as they take the steps to getting there. I also have a programme that offers a structure and additional resources to help guide them towards their goal. This programme will help them: - Get more clarity on what "getting to the next level" means for them - Manage the inner voice that prevents them from taking the steps they want to take, and start taking action - Move towards their goal by taking appropriate next steps, and stretching their comfort zone - Set up a professional support system for themselves so that they can move forward more confidently, even beyond our coaching sessions ------------------ BACKGROUND ------------------ Before becoming ICF certified, I was an Agile Business Analyst and Coach, and had been coaching teams, individuals and clients for about 6 years. I have worked with clients from multiple countries, including Singapore, the United States, Australia, India, and Hong Kong. In working with my clients, I have helped them in both in the personal and career context. After working with me and going through one of my coaching progammes, a client received feedback from her peers about how she seemed more confident, and was also offered the opportunity to be groomed to a higher position after a conversation with a higher-up on her concerns and needs. I look forward to working with my clients to similarly help them figure out the direction they want to go in, and start taking steps to overcome the internal or external challenges that they face in order to do so. I believe that although everyone faces challenging times, personal growth and development through coaching can help you better handle the challenges that you face in both your personal and professional lives, and in the path of discovering and becoming the best version of yourself! ------------------ CLIENT TESTIMONIALS ------------------ “I feel truly fortunate to have Angeline as a coach! Her empathetic demeanor and inquisitiveness helps to bring out the best in me, which has led to some of my most profound growth over the past several months. She cares about her clients, listens with the utmost care, and knows what to say at the right moments. If you want a coach who creates an encouraging and supportive environment to foster growth, then Angeline is your coach!” - Derrick Snow (US) ------------------ "I've had the pleasure of working with Angeline over the last few months, and the experience has been enriching and rewarding. Her programme is well structured, and is intentionally designed to help you gain clarity of the areas to work on as you move toward your goals. This structure is complemented by well curated resources that Angeline provides pre- and post-coaching, which have been instrumental in spurring further personal reflection, insight, and action. As a coach, she has an empathetic and compassionate demeanour, which are wonderful qualities that fostered a safe environment in supporting my journey of self-discovery and growth. Through her gentle probing and insightful reflections, she has helped me turn my ideas and aspirations into reality, while ensuring self-accountability in the process. " - Melissa Leong (Singapore) ------------------ “Angeline is an inspiring and thought-provoking human being and coach. She creates a safe space to explore ideas, focussing on solutions and holding oneself accountable to help turn ideas into reality. [...] I would recommend Angeline in a heartbeat.” - Tracey Laba (Australia)

People often look for coaching when something shifts — a new context, a role that stretches them, or a decision that feels heavier than expected. I work with people who are sitting in those spaces: leaders navigating new responsibilities, teams looking to deepen their alignment and effectiveness, and individuals noticing that what once felt clear now needs to be reconsidered. My background is in Coaching Psychology (MSc), and I hold ACC accreditation from ICF. My approach draws on evidence-based methods such as cognitive-behavioural, solution-focused, and positive psychology. I use these in a way that encourages steady reflection rather than rushing toward conclusions. Change can be uncomfortable, and sometimes the most useful step is simply making space to think differently. Clients often tell me that our work helps them crystallise what matters, refine their choices, and move forward with more steadiness. This comes from noticing patterns, widening perspectives, and exploring what feels possible at a sustainable pace. If you are in a period of transition, questioning what comes next, or wanting a more grounded way to lead or work, I welcome a conversation about what you are exploring right now.

Minh Ngoc
Hanoi, Vietnam
Languages: English, Vietnamese

Minh Ngọc is an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) who works with women in leadership roles who carry significant responsibility—often for businesses, teams, or families—and feel the emotional weight that comes with it. Her coaching focuses on the inner side of leadership: clarity, self-trust, and the ability to make decisions that come from alignment rather than pressure, expectation, or fear. Minh Ngọc supports clients who appear capable on the outside but feel conflicted, constrained, or quietly exhausted on the inside. With a background as a former CEO and social entrepreneur, Minh Ngọc understands leadership not only as a role, but as a lived experience—especially when responsibility is inherited, shared, or difficult to step away from. Her work integrates professional coaching with a deep understanding of emotional dynamics, relationships, and personal authority. Minh Ngọc’s coaching style is calm, grounded, and direct. She does not tell clients who to be or what to choose. Instead, she creates a space where leaders can slow down, listen inwardly, and reconnect with the version of themselves that leads with clarity and integrity. She works in English and Vietnamese, and welcomes clients who are ready to explore leadership in a deeper, more personal way.

Can you be a sensitive (or highly sensitive) person and still be a good leader? I believe not only that it’s possible — but that it might be the greatest contribution you can offer to yourself, your team, your organisation, and maybe even society at large. Whether you're a CEO, team lead, VP, founder, or hold any other leadership role — the moment you stop seeing your sensitivity as a flaw and begin to recognise it as a gift, everything changes. You can lead with kindness and strength. Be empathetic, intuitive, and grounded. Make decisions calmly and in alignment with your values. Say no — without guilt. Be respected, impactful, and inspiring. But learning to protect and honour your sensitivity — and lead from it — isn’t always easy. It often means questioning inherited models, reframing internalised beliefs, and exploring new ways of working that actually suit your nature. That’s where I come in. As an Accredited Coach with over 20 years of international leadership experience in the creative industry, I support you in finding your own way to balance your sensitivity with your leadership responsibilities — and in building a path that feels not only effective, but truly yours. My diverse background includes roles as a trainer, producer, and executive, combined with an academic foundation in philosophy, advanced coaching expertise, and a deep understanding of high sensitivity, leadership, and intercultural communication. Through gentle yet structured coaching and training programs, I help sensitive professionals reconnect with themselves, think clearly, and take aligned action — in their own rhythm and style. Together, we might explore: ✨ how to integrate sensitivity into your leadership style ✨ how to lead others without losing your balance ✨ how to set boundaries without guilt ✨ how to navigate responsibility without hardening your heart ✨ how to make important decisions without feeling overwhelmed If this resonates with you, I’d be happy to hear from you. Whether you're at a crossroads, looking for new clarity, or simply curious about how my programs might support you, feel free to get in touch. I work in both English and Italian.

My clients are engaged in a broad range of industries - corporate, small and medium sized enterprises, startups as well as UN agencies, international financial institutions (IFI's) and other organizations in the development and humanitarian sectors. I am sharing a handful of client testimonials for your perusal! Sierra Trance, Head of Customer Success, Penbrothers International Inc. Location: Philippines Industry: B2B Offshoring Services "I am thrilled to share my heartfelt appreciation for the exceptional leadership coaching provided by Patrick during my first year at Penbrothers. In the realm of leadership development, Patrick has been an indispensable guide. His insights and strategies have not only refined my leadership skills but have also helped me foster a positive and collaborative work environment. This invaluable support has played a pivotal role in my growth as a leader within the organization. Navigating leadership transitions can be a challenging feat, but with Patrick’s guidance, the process became seamless. His thoughtful advice facilitated a smooth integration into my new role, allowing me to confidently take on new responsibilities. What sets him apart is his commitment to transformational coaching. His approach goes beyond conventional coaching, delving deep into unlocking one's full potential. This transformative journey has empowered me to not only meet but exceed my professional goals, marking a significant impact on my career trajectory. His keen focus on individual growth, coupled with strategic guidance, has been the compass steering me through challenges and propelling me toward opportunities for advancement. I consider Patrick as my career “sherpa” more than a leadership coach I never knew I needed, and I’m forever grateful for being his coachee." Josef Werker, Co-Founder and CEO, Humble Sustainability Location: Philippines and Singapore Industry: Circular Economy Startup, Climate Technology, Sustainability. "I’ve had transformational business coaching with Patrick for the past 2 years and I’ve achieved more in 2 years than the previous 30 combined, it has been the steepest phase of growth from my entire career by a mile. He doesn't tell me what to do, the solutions are often in my own head, but clouded by distraction. The first step for me was to be able to speak with complete openness - Patrick makes this easier because of his humble, kind, and empathetic nature, which gave me the assurance that I could open up with the knowledge that there is zero judgement. From there - he touches on his own past experiences and asks the key questions that help me think a little differently. Most importantly, we have clear actions, which ensures there’s tangible and consistent progress. Having someone to speak to who helps me see things clearly seems so simple, yet it has been genuinely transformational. Not only am I improving as a leader and teammate in the workplace, but I am also becoming a better family member and above all, a happier and healthier person. Over the course of 2 years, I have been able to identify my personal and professional goals, and even achieved a few of them. Patrick has helped me navigate through challenging times and see clarity with regards to what I want. I recognize that coaching is a long-term commitment, but I genuinely feel that I am moving towards maximizing my potential with every session. I was not a believer in executive coaching but now I know there’s no way I would be where I am if it were not for him. Because of this, Patrick then went on to coach the management teams at both Penbrothers and now Humble - the feedback and results have been excellent. If you don't already, I encourage you to speak to someone openly on a regular basis. If you haven’t found the right person yet, I strongly recommend having a chat with Patrick."

Whether we're working on emotional regulation, resilience, or executive presence, I create a space where clarity, courage, and connection can emerge. International Development Leadership: For more than 16 years, I served as a senior leader with the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), holding progressively responsible positions in Washington, D.C. and overseas. My roles included Deputy Director for International Communications, Country Director for Belarus, Director of the Program Office for the Eastern and Southern Caribbean, Deputy Director of the Global Climate Change Office, and Director of the Program and Policy Office in Kosovo. In these positions, I managed portfolios ranging from $45 million to $350 million annually, led teams of up to 20 professionals, and represented U.S. foreign assistance priorities to host governments, interagency partners, Congress, and multilateral organizations. I developed and executed strategic plans that aligned development programming with broader policy objectives, navigated politically sensitive environments, and built coalitions across diverse stakeholder groups. Strategic Communications & Organizational Leadership: As Deputy Director for International Communications at USAID, I led the design and rollout of the agency's first enterprise-wide communications training program, reaching approximately 10,000 employees globally. I shaped strategic communications to meet programmatic objectives, trained senior leadership on speechwriting and media engagement, and supported the strategic vision for USAID's corporate communications worldwide. Earlier in my career, I served as Chief of the Strategy and Budget Division in Pakistan, where I managed a high-performing team responsible for strategy, planning, analysis, and budgeting for a foreign assistance portfolio valued at $4.5 billion. I cultivated relationships with the Pakistan Ministry of Planning and Development and provided analysis that enabled leadership to articulate budget priorities to Congress and the Department of State. Crisis Management & Complex Environments: Much of my career has involved leading through complexity and crisis. As Country Director for Belarus, I coordinated programming across four countries during a period of significant political upheaval, successfully advocating for additional funding to support civil society and independent media. In the Caribbean, I guided USAID's regional response to COVID-19 while implementing the agency's Climate Change Strategy across 11 countries. In Egypt, I supported the Economic Growth team in programming an additional $100 million to respond to post-Revolution development needs, resulting in more than 20 new awards. These experiences taught me how to lead under pressure, make high-stakes decisions with incomplete information, and support teams through uncertainty while maintaining focus on mission-critical objectives.

I often work with my clients through investigating the narratives and their life stories, as we believe that it is the narratives/life stories we continue telling ourselves have shaped who we are today, and will inevitably influence the future we are heading to.
