I graduated in Mechanical Engineering. The essence of an engineer's role is to solve problems and make people's lives better. But I've made an adjustment after my graduation. I continued in engineering, but started working in the operations area, whose problem is to do more, better, with less resources. Performance is the keyword on Production. During my master's and doctoral studies in Production Engineering, I came across some works that, in general, pointed to the following question: if you want performance, you need to develop people.
