Dr Thomas has been coaching in Asia since 2012. He brings over two decades of leadership as a US military officer and years of teaching at major universities, in addition to his coaching experience in Asia. For 21 years he served as a strategist in the United States Air Force, retiring in 2010 as a Lieutenant Colonel. His career saw him start as a nuclear operations commander near the end of the Cold War before transitioning to a focus on complex operations such as peacekeeping, counterterrorism, and humanitarian assistance. He developed much of the Air Force's new strategy for the post-Cold War VUCA (Volatile - Uncertain - Complex - Ambiguous) environment, and was able to put those strategies into practice during challenging deployments to Macedonia, Bosnia, Iraq, and Afghanistan. During his career he spent 7 years as a professor at the United States Air Force Academy, where he taught strategic studies and political science as he helped develop the incoming leaders for the Air Force. His final assignment, in the Office of the Secretary of Defense at the Pentagon, saw him work primarily on a humanitarian mission with governments in Southeast Asia. Moving to Asia at the start of 2012, he spent 3 years as the Executive Advisor for CEB Corporate Leadership Council. In this role he advised Chief HR Officers from Asia-based multinationals in industries such as banking, telecom, hospitality, airlines, retail, government, international development, and more, in a dozen markets throughout the region. He then went on to found his own leadership coaching and training company, Designing Leaders, where he worked with leaders at all levels, from those taking on their first leadership role to those in the C-suite. Stepping back into the corporate world, he worked for The Economist Group as a geopolitical advisor to C-suite leaders in Singapore and Malysia, and later spent 3 years leading excutive development and onboarding for Amazon Web Services in Asia-Pacific. In addition to Singapore, he has also lived in Bangkok and Manila. Dr Thomas holds a PhD in Public Policy, with a focus on organizational culture and organizational change, as well as an MBA and a bachelor's degree in economics. In addition to teaching at the Academy, he was a professor at Georgetown University in Washington DC, where he taught graduate courses on Data Analysis for HR and on Multinational Business Policy, and served as an advisor in the program's Capstone course. He also taught as a Fulbright Scholar at Singapore's Nanyang Technological University, leading a graduate seminar on strategic culture. He is a Certified Professional Coach, accredited by the World Coach Institute. He focuses on the concept of Sustainable Leadership, helping leaders create an environment that sustains their organization's growth and that creates a culture where leadership turnover does not disrupt that growth. He finds that many clients benefit from the GROW model (Goal - Reality - Options - Will) of coaching, though he tailors the approach to the needs of each individual. His coaching practice has included leaders who are: - taking on a leadership role for the first time - preparing for their next leadership opportunity - leading a temporary project - experiencing, or planning for, organizational changes Beyond the workplace, he is an international marathoner, and one of the few people in the world to complete The Marathon Grand Slam: running a marathon on all 7 continents and at the North Pole. Having only started running at age 42, he learned the value of taking on new goals (and new risks) no matter one's age. His book, CROSS THE LINES, shares lessons from that journey that support professional development, and he incorporates his athletic experience - along with his military, academic, and corporate backgrounds - to create the foundation for his coaching approach. With his diverse background, he works comfortably with a wide range of clients, and with leadership experience of his own in high-risk, complex situations, he is able to stand in the shoes of others and see things clearly from a leader's perspective. Using techniques from his classroom experience and his corporate advisory work, he helps clients discover solutions for themselves that will be best for their own unique situations.

I’m the founder of my own coaching company, where I work with individuals and groups to help them get clear on what they really want from life, then create the game plan to make it happen. Play and freedom are my core values. They drive pretty much all aspects of my life and work. I like playing with possibilities, bringing bold ideas to life, and creating opportunities that light me up and are aligned with what I value. I thrive in new environments and have purposefully carved out a rich and varied career path, collecting many ‘gems’ along the way to bring to the next challenge. I love to inspire others to play by their own rules too. It’s why I became a coach - to help people create positive, lasting change by working out what really excites them, then developing the mindset and strategy to make it real. Typically I work with people who are wanting to challenge what's expected of them, nearing burn out or who struggle with people pleasing. I hold an ICF-accredited diploma in transformational coaching with leading training body Animas. I’m also credentialed at ACC level by the ICF. That’s a lot of letters, but it basically means that I've put in the work and know my stuff.

Amanda Hahn brings a deeply human perspective to her work, shaped by a career spent inside complex organizations and a personal journey of growth, curiosity, and continual learning. Before becoming a coach and educator, Amanda spent more than 25 years in corporate retail, working in fast-paced, high-accountability environments. She led and participated in enterprise-wide system implementations, large-scale change initiatives, and periods of significant organizational transformation. Along the way, she experienced firsthand what it feels like to carry responsibility, navigate uncertainty, adapt to constant change, and balance ambition with sustainability. Those experiences sparked a deeper curiosity about people—how they grow, how they lead, and how they stay grounded when the pressure is on. Amanda’s path eventually led her back to graduate school to study organization development, where she began to integrate her practical leadership experience with a deeper understanding of human behavior, systems, and change. Teaching and learning remain central to who she is. She continues to teach at the graduate level and in ICF-accredited programs, believing that growth happens best when reflection and real-world experience meet. At her core, Amanda values presence, curiosity, and connection. She is known for creating spaces where people feel safe to think, question, and show up as themselves. Outside of work, she is an avid learner, an early adopter of new technologies, and someone who values time outdoors, meaningful conversations, and practices that support clarity and balance. Amanda believes that exceptional leadership—and an exceptional life—begin with self-awareness, choice, and the courage to grow. That belief shapes everything she does.

I care deeply about supporting and growing today’s leaders. I lean into curiosity, compassion, and expansiveness — where the impossible becomes possible. I began leading, facilitating, and coaching teams, and individuals, during my 7-year tenure at Apple. There I developed a keen sense what motivates others, how adults learn, and what it takes to make a good team great. I trained and coached Apple employees across North America in both English and Spanish. After Apple, I was recruited to work at Compass, a national real estate brokerage. During the 5 years I worked there, I grew a team of 4 to a team of over 30. I experienced the growth of the organization from startup to post-IPO and I lead my team through the transition. I collaborated with different teams in Los Angeles, and across the country, to strategize, implement, and iterate on business plans that would support my team as well as their customers. I left the corporate world to develop my coaching business. I now work with high-performing individuals, mid-level managers, and senior leaders using the transformative power of the Co-Active Coaching Model. I am known as a compassionate, approachable, and heart-centered leader. I understand that for an organization to grow, everyone must work together towards a common goal. The team must unite and believe the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
Lauren helps executives, leaders, and teams find clarity and courage when the stakes are high — navigating complexity, leading through growth, and driving transformation that actually sticks. What she brings isn't just frameworks; it's 30+ years of having sat in the seat herself, including as Asia Pacific Regional Director for People & Organizational Capability at Microsoft and Asia-Pacific Head of CIO Business at Credit Suisse, alongside global project leadership at BHP and Rio Tinto and board experience. She's led through financial crises, a global pandemic, and constant geopolitical shifts — so when a client is under real pressure, she isn't theorising from the side lines. Sixteen years living and working across Singapore and Asia, and experience spanning pharmaceuticals, mining and energy, manufacturing, finance, and technology, means she brings a genuinely global, cross-cultural lens — but what clients say matters more is how quickly she builds trust. She challenges constructively, listens properly, and creates the kind of partnership where people feel safe being honest about what's actually getting in their way. At the personal level, she helps leaders sharpen their thinking, build confidence, and find the courage to make harder calls — the kind of clarity that changes how someone shows up, not just what they know. At the team level, she helps align people around shared priorities, lift collective capability, and build the trust that turns a group of individuals into a team that executes with real speed and ownership. At the organisational level, she's helped translate strategy into measurable outcomes — accelerated revenue growth, stronger margins, better customer impact, and shareholder returns — by strengthening the strategic thinking, decision quality, and enterprise-wide accountability that sustain performance long after she's left the room. Alongside her client work, Lauren teaches C-suite and leadership programs as Adjunct Professor and Associate Faculty for Duke Corporate Education, Emeritus Executive Education, UNITAR Malaysia, and NUS Graduate School of Business — which keeps her close to what's shifting in leadership practice globally, not just what worked a decade ago. A former professional squash player and long-distance runner, Lauren co-manages a small farm in rural Tasmania, Australia, caring for a herd of alpacas alongside her partner, extended family, friends, and local community — that brings balance, practicality and authenticity to her executive partnerships.

I partner with leaders who are technically strong and successful — yet know that to operate at the next level, they must lead with greater clarity, confidence, and influence. As an ICF-Credentialed Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with over 8 years of coaching experience, and more than 20 years in senior finance leadership roles — including Chief Financial Officer — I bring both coaching depth and real-world executive perspective into my work. My coaching is grounded in the realities leaders face: competing priorities, organizational politics, cross-cultural teams, and the pressure to deliver results while leading people well. Having worked closely with executive teams across Asia-Pacific, Europe, and the US, I understand the nuances of leadership across cultures and contexts. Clients value my ability to create a safe, trusting space while also offering thoughtful challenge — helping them expand self-awareness, reframe perspectives, and take purposeful action aligned with their values and goals. One of the most transformative lessons I learnt was the importance of embracing both negative and positive aspect of life instead of focusing on Positive aspect only. I found myself stuck in a cycle of resistance, unwilling to step outside my comfort zone. But with your coaching, I have learned the beauty of embracing discomfort and pushing beyond boundaries. My experience: Safe space for me to explore my deepest fear that was public speaking. Challenging yet inspiring and motivating. Outcome: Major shift in the way I perceive and interact with the world around me. My reward: Personal growth and self-discovery. Thanks Dipti, for challenging me to confront my fears and uniquely inspiring to step outside my comfort zone. HOP ON TO A CALL WITH ME IF YOU WANT TO MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR PROFESSIONAL JOURNEY.
