Coach and Coachee completing an on-demand coaching session

What is On-Demand Coaching?

Posted by BOLDLY

Some BOLDLY clients wish to offer coaching to staff on an ad-hoc basis. Usually, our clients buy 2-3 'credits' per staff member per year, and the employee has the choice to use those credits when they have the need. Typically employees use their credits when a specific situation calls for preparation, like a performance review meeting. This model works for organisations with 10+ employees participating in the on-demand coaching pool.

Features of on-demand coaching:

- Access a coach for 1-off conversations (1 hour)

- Recommended for ad-hoc discussions

- Coaches are pre-screened by BOLDLY and allocated to employees based on fit and availability (no chemistry meeting)

- Available on 24 hours notice

- The coachee may not be connected with the same coach consecutively for subsequent credits

Here's why clients might opt for this approach, common topics addressed, and how early career professionals can maximize their benefits:

  1. Flexibility: Clients can access coaching when they need it most, without committing to long-term engagements.
  2. Targeted support: Addresses specific, immediate challenges or questions.
  3. Cost-effective: Pay only for the coaching time used, rather than ongoing retainer fees.
  4. Quick results: Focused sessions can lead to rapid insights and actionable steps.
  5. Diverse expertise: Access different coaches with specialized knowledge as needs arise.
