Your on-demand coaching session is an ad hoc, 1-hour coaching call with a coach matched to you by BOLDLY. Sometimes called 'laser coaching' or 'spot coaching', your on-demand coaching session is a chance for a quick turn-around discussion as you prepare for a tough meeting, get input on a key work relationship or tackle a stressful situation (for example!). Whatever the reason for wanting coaching, you'll need to make sure you get the most out of this one-hour call. Here are some tips to guarantee you maximise this time:
- Prepare your thoughts on your goals for the call in advance. In this one hour call, you'll only have time to address an acute, manageable goal, so make sure your goal is well-defined and realistic to address.
- Ensure you've booked your time, and you can take the call from a quiet place where you can focus. Ideally, you'll have time before and after the call (at least 15 minutes) to prepare your mind, and then reflect on the discussion. As you'll only have an hour together, there's not a lot of time for being late or settling in!
- Be prepared to take notes, and define your actions for post-session. Your on-demand coaching session will result in several to-do's designed to ensure you make tactical traction against your goal, so make sure you capture the action items so you can follow through.
