"We don’t receive wisdom; we must discover it ourselves after a journey that not one can take for us or spare us.” Marcel Proust I approach my clients with respect and a good dose of humour. I know how to draw you out of your shell, structure complex situations with you, and make them evident through dialogue.  As a coach, I am convinced that every person already has their solutions within themselves. I am your sparring partner who accompanies you on your way to find answers and put them into words and actions. With my hotelier family background, service orientation and working with people is in my genes. My work with clients in various industries enriches my working day and broadens my horizon. The common denominators to success are often people and their relationships. The passion for unveiling behind the scenes and strategizing the next steps is what I enjoy about coaching. I have worked with coachees during different transition processes in their careers, such as identifying, finding, and taking on new responsibilities and roles. This typically is followed by preparation and reflection on the onboarding phase, including leadership themes to make informed decisions to move forward with focus. I work with leaders and their teams in change management initiatives. These are, for example, organizational changes and transition into new working environments to commonly create and achieve a striving working environment.

Part sounding board. Part advisory board. Part Oujia board. Ever have a conversation with a friend, family member or co-worker that was completely free from judgment or bias? Me neither. But I have with a coach. Because that’s the job we’re trained for. Coaching has changed my life. I’m here today, doing what I love, because I worked with coaches who gave me the space to figure out what was true for me. I left a perfectly good full-time gig after 26 years in the advertising industry to pursue coaching full time. I get to bring all of that experience and the values those experiences forged with me to every client relationship. Problem solving, relentless curiosity, empathy and optimism. I started a podcast called DesuckifyWork™ that gives me the chance to speak with brilliant people every week who have exponentially broadened what I thought could be possible in the world of work. And I get to wake up each day, feeling grateful that I do all of this on my terms. If you’d like to have the same kind of experience, let’s talk.

Core Values: Innovation | Adaptability | Connection | Integrity | Playful >>>> Kaizen As a coach, coach supervisor, workshop/group facilitator, and author, my life and career has been dedicated to the field of self-development and to effecting positive change through storytelling and conversations initially as a psychotherapist and now as a Master Certified Coach [MCC] accredited by the ICF and a certified coach supervisor with a European Supervision Individual Accreditation [ESIA] from the EMCC.  Clients describe me as authentic, empathic, playful, incisive, and willing to challenge them when the time arises.  I believe that coaching is whole-person systems focused - everything is connected.  My coaching practice involves helping my clients to develop professional skills such as servant leadership, attention/time management, managing up/down, emotional intelligence, and building trust/psychological safety with teams.  I also support my clients to build personal development areas such as maintaining positive relationships, mental/physical wellness, and values-purpose alignment.     After completing business school, I started my career in tech start-ups in Silicon Beach, CA, but then shifted to pursue clinical psychology. Upon completing my Master's in Psychology, I worked as a therapist and received a certification in Dialectic Behavioral Therapy [DBT] which combines a Cognitive-Behavioral technique with Mindfulness practices.  Finding that I had over-corrected a bit, I left the clinical world to find my sweet spot between business and psychology in executive coaching about ten years ago.  As a coach, I use all my business and start-up experiences coupled with positive psychology and a humanistic-ontological theoretical position to form the foundation of how I approached my practice. I trained as a coach under the Ericksonian approach which holds that people are already whole and resourceful when they come to coaching and that growth is merely an expansion of wholeness. With this holistic approach and my clinical understanding of group dynamics from over a decade of experience facilitating groups both in-person and online and an equal amount of time coaching individuals, I aim to elicit powerful mindset shifts with my clients by supporting them to transform unproductive beliefs into resourceful ones. I do this by utilizing neuroscience concepts of habit formation, the power of our imagination, and the convergence of this evidence that suggests sustainable development in people and organizations are the product of prospection, attention, intention, and then reflection.   Prospection – Digging for possibilities and visioning a future state of how we would like for it to be Attention – Uncovering new ways of what we can do to make it be Intention – Gaining awareness around why we want it to be Reflection – Looking back on these experiments and learning about who we are becoming from our how – why – what, developing our next how – why – what
