I came to coaching through twenty years of leading inside organizations — first as a Creative Director and Strategy Director in advertising, where I directed large cross-functional teams and learned, early, that performance problems are rarely skill problems. They are almost always relational, psychological, or systemic. That insight changed how I led. Eventually, it changed everything. Over the past decade I have built a coaching practice grounded in that organizational fluency — and deepened it through rigorous training in integral and somatic methodologies. I work with mid-level through C-suite leaders who are navigating something consequential: a shift in role, in identity, or in what the moment is asking of them. They come to me when understanding what needs to change is no longer enough — when insight has stopped translating into action, and something more fundamental needs to shift. My approach is developmental, somatic, and systemic. I work with the whole person — not only the presenting challenge, but the patterns beneath it: how a leader listens, how they hold pressure, how they show up in the room versus how they intend to. I am interested in the gap between those two things, and in what becomes possible when it closes. I served as faculty at Integral Coaching Canada for four years, mentoring and assessing coaches pursuing the profession's highest credential levels. That work — being inside the formation of other coaches — sharpened my own practice considerably. It also gave me a clear sense of what depth in coaching actually requires, and what it makes possible. In parallel with my private practice, I have held senior internal roles in leadership development — at CBC/Radio-Canada and most recently at Mila, the Quebec Artificial Intelligence Institute, where I designed and led the organization's inaugural leadership development pathway. These embedded experiences gave me something I consider essential: a firsthand understanding of what it means to develop leaders inside the complexity and constraint of real organizational systems, not only in the relative spaciousness of a coaching room. I work bilingually in English and French — not only as a language capacity but as a cultural one. My bilingual practice gives me meaningful reach into Francophone executive communities in Canada and internationally, where senior-level coaching in French remains genuinely scarce. What clients consistently describe is a coaching relationship that is both rigorously honest and deeply relational — one that asks them to look clearly at what is actually happening, and supports them in building the internal resources to respond differently. I am direct, warm, and unhurried. I hold high standards and genuine care in equal measure.

Most CTOs I talk to are capable leaders drowning in the wrong work. They're busy all day doing work their managers should own. I've seen this pattern across every engineering org I've led or advised. The CTO gets stuck in firefighter. Too many escalations, decisions, and "quick questions" land on their desk. The strategic work doesn’t happen because the urgent work never stops. I help CTOs break that pattern by building the leadership layer beneath them that makes it possible. This is for you if: - Escalations land on your desk that shouldn't - Your managers are technically strong but struggle to lead independently - You haven't had a real strategic conversation in weeks - You know more hours isn't the answer

Have you ever felt that the higher you rise, the lonelier and more complex the decisions become? I work with senior leaders navigating complex, matrixed, and cross-cultural environments — helping them strengthen their strategic leadership, executive presence, and stakeholder influence in ways that are both authentic and effective. I'm Javi, a licensed Psychologist and Certified Executive Coach (Columbia University), with over 20 years of experience across mining, pharma, financial services, and professional services in LATAM and Europe. I've sat in senior roles at BHP, Roche, and Aviron Investments — so I understand firsthand what it means to lead in environments where the pressure is high, the structure is ambiguous, and the expectations are constant. My approach: You are at the centre. I'll bring questions that open new perspectives, a deep understanding of organisational dynamics, and a high focus on EQ and self-leadership — so you can move from reactive to intentional, and from managing complexity to leading through it with confidence. We might be a good fit if: - You're navigating a new or expanded role in a global organisation - You want to strengthen your influence across functions, regions, or cultures - You're ready to lead with more clarity, confidence, and impact

Part sounding board. Part advisory board. Part Oujia board. Ever have a conversation with a friend, family member or co-worker that was completely free from judgment or bias? Me neither. But I have with a coach. Because that’s the job we’re trained for. Coaching has changed my life. I’m here today, doing what I love, because I worked with coaches who gave me the space to figure out what was true for me. I left a perfectly good full-time gig after 26 years in the advertising industry to pursue coaching full time. I get to bring all of that experience and the values those experiences forged with me to every client relationship. Problem solving, relentless curiosity, empathy and optimism. I started a podcast called DesuckifyWork™ that gives me the chance to speak with brilliant people every week who have exponentially broadened what I thought could be possible in the world of work. And I get to wake up each day, feeling grateful that I do all of this on my terms. If you’d like to have the same kind of experience, let’s talk.

My background combines deep corporate leadership experience with evidence-based coaching. Prior to launching my coaching practice, I spent more than two decades in senior leadership roles within the global hospitality and meetings industries, working with organizations such as Sonesta, LXR Luxury Resorts, Hilton Hotels, and Accor. These roles gave me firsthand experience leading teams, managing change, navigating organizational dynamics, and operating under constant performance pressure. That experience strongly informs my coaching approach today—practical, business-savvy, and grounded in real-world leadership challenges. I am the Founder and CEO of a boutique leadership and career strategy firm focused on leadership development, mental fitness, and professional growth. My clients are often high-performing individuals who are successful on paper but navigating moments of transition, expansion, burnout, or uncertainty about their next chapter. Many are stepping into larger leadership roles, redefining their careers, or seeking to strengthen their leadership presence and resilience. A core pillar of my work is mental fitness, supported by my certification in Positive Intelligence®. I help leaders identify and quiet self-sabotaging patterns, strengthen emotional intelligence, and build the inner capacity required to lead effectively in today’s fast-paced, high-change environments. My coaching supports leaders in shifting from reactive patterns to intentional, values-aligned leadership—improving decision-making, communication, and overall effectiveness. I help leaders build internal resilience while strengthening external impact, allowing them to lead with authenticity, clarity, and confidence. I am particularly passionate about working with leaders during pivotal moments—role expansion, organizational change, burnout recovery, career reinvention, or preparation for the next stage of leadership.
