I bring over a decade of experience in leadership, people development, and business ownership to my work as a coach. My coaching practice centers on helping business owners and leaders build strong teams, clarify direction, and scale their leadership in ways that are both effective and sustainable. Many leaders, especially in small businesses, carry the weight of the entire organization. They struggle with delegation, team alignment, and finding time to lead instead of react. I built my coaching practice around helping those leaders break that cycle. My approach is grounded in partnership and accountability. I serve as a strategic partner for my clients—someone who can ask the right questions, challenge assumptions, and help clients create actionable plans they can actually follow through on. I bring a balance of support and challenge to every conversation, and my clients consistently say they appreciate how I push them without ever making them feel judged or inadequate. In addition to one-on-one coaching, I lead workshops for leadership teams on topics such as delegation, communication, accountability, and sustainable growth. These sessions are interactive and built to spark real conversations and action. My coaching training is grounded in an ICF-accredited program, and I’m currently certified as an ACC coach through the ICF. I also hold certifications in The Five Behaviors framework, designed to help teams and organizations recognize both their strengths and blindspots. Because I’ve owned and operated multiple businesses myself, I bring a practical, real-world lens to the coaching conversation. I understand the weight of payroll, culture, customer experience, and long-term vision—not in theory, but in practice. That helps me connect quickly with my clients and offer coaching that’s not just reflective, but relevant. Above all, I believe leadership development shouldn’t be reserved for the few at the top—it should be accessible to every leader who wants to grow. That’s why I’m excited about opportunities like this one, where coaching can be scaled across teams and borders, with impact that reaches far beyond the individual.

As a People and Culture professional, certified coach, and experienced trainer, I am passionate about helping individuals grow into the best versions of themselves. My coaching journey began in 2020, when colleagues would often seek me out not just for HR advice, but for honest conversations about their growth, doubts, and next steps. Many shared that I listened differently, held space without judgment, and asked questions that made them think deeper. Since then, I’ve coached individuals from all walks of life, each with their own stories, struggles, and strengths. What energizes me most is witnessing the moment someone reconnects with their potential and steps into who they’re meant to be. With my background in HR, leadership development, and facilitation, I’m committed to walking alongside others as they grow with purpose and clarity.
Before transitioning into coaching, I spent 10 years working in marketing for global-leading companies. My corporate background, combined with my experience as a mother of two, has given me a unique perspective on the challenges of balancing personal and professional life. I am a leadership and organisational development coach with over 19 years of practitioner experience spanning entrepreneurship, brand building, operations, community growth, and organisational learning. I work with fast-growing organisations to build the management capability, leadership pipelines, and human-centred cultures that enable people to perform, belong, and stay. What distinguishes my coaching is that it is grounded in lived experience, not theory alone. I have built and scaled purpose-led ventures from the ground up, and led large women-driven communities, environments where leadership was not a title but a daily practice under real pressure. This means I bring a practitioner's lens to every coaching engagement: I understand what it feels like when growth outpaces structure, when teams lose alignment, and when leaders are promoted before they are equipped. My coaching meets people exactly at those intersections. Who I Coach and What We Work On My coaching is most impactful for: - First-time and mid-level managers transitioning from individual contributors to people leaders, who need to develop clarity, confidence, and a distinct leadership identity - Senior leaders and founders who are scaling their organisations and need to integrate purpose with business impact and to also empower them to build a strong leadership and executive presence - HR leaders and L&D professionals designing people strategies that strengthen engagement, reduce attrition, and build a compelling employer brand My work sits at the intersection of leadership development, learning design, and business growth: a combination that is increasingly critical for organisations competing for talent in complex, high-growth environments. Having operated as both a founder and an organisational leader, I bring contextual credibility that accelerates trust in the coaching relationship and enables deeper, faster work with clients. I am committed to ethical practice, continuous professional development, and contributing meaningfully to the broader coaching community, values I understand to be central to BOLDLY's standards and mission. I am excited by the opportunity to bring my experience to BOLDLY's global network and to work with organisations that are serious about building leaders who can take their people and their business forward.

In a nutshell: 15 years in the humanitarian sector mostly in top management, specializing in team empowerment and resource optimization within high-stakes environments. Now based near Bergamo, Italy, I continue my commitment to impactful change through individual coaching (my passion!) and climate-focused consultancy. In more details: As far as I remember, I had no idea where I was heading. With a generalist training from a French business school, I ended up working in a clutch factory, lost in an industrial polygon near the Madrid suburbs, which as a non-Spanish-speaker proved quite the experience. 2 years later, rather than getting promoted to an office job paving the way for a bright and respectable future, I joined the ranks of MSF (doctors without borders). Without notice, I got sent to Haiti while the earth was still shaking from the 2010 earthquake. A life-changing moment, on all levels. I experienced the field, the people, the thrill. 3 missions and a few security situations later, I went back to HQ in Paris. We then moved to Senegal for 5 years, participating in the rise of Alima (an MSF-like NGO). The day we got back to Europe as our 3rd child was close to join the family, I said “no more finance unless msf opens a great job in Barcelona”. 3 month later I started as finance director of MSF in Barcelona. Further away from the field, still close to people, but in need for more. During lockdown 2020, that urge materialized when I discovered deep-breathing… which led me to sign up for a master’s degree in emotional intelligence and coaching. How does coaching respond to my aspirations? It's at the same time a work of art (ritual, improvisation, flow), a balance (trust space, continuous self-learning) and a social commitment (one to one qualitative experience, pro bono, accompanying others). During sessions we create quality spaces, through trust and active listening: building these experiences is an exciting way to serve. I moved to Italy to write a new life chapter, during which I get back, through coaching, to the kind of excitement I felt at the beginning of my humanitarian path.

My coaching centres on leadership — helping leaders at all levels develop the clarity, confidence and capability their next step requires. Whether that's a first-time manager finding their footing, a mid-level leader navigating complex stakeholder dynamics, or a senior leader guiding their department through change, I adapt to the person and the moment. I bring over a decade of individual and team coaching experience across a wide range of contexts (technology, financial services, manufacturing, logistics, consumer goods, agri-tech and more) working with leaders across Australasia, Asia, the Middle East and Europe. I have also designed and led a six-month leadership growth programme centred on adaptive leadership and innovation. My qualifications include ICF accreditation (ACC), conflict management coaching, systems coaching (ORSC) and extended DISC. I co-led a published coaching research programme spanning three continents that demonstrated a 9% increase in cognitive ability (including problem-solving and collaboration) and have presented findings at conferences across the Asia-Pacific. Behind the coaching sits a varied professional background spanning IT, project management, software development and aircraft maintenance (across organisations from start-ups to large corporations in Europe and APAC). The breadth means different industries rarely feel unfamiliar, and approaches proven in one world often bring fresh thinking to another. --- **Testimonials** "I am no longer just reacting to situations; I am consciously choosing my approach to achieve the best outcome for my team and the business." "Alan helped me navigate uncertainties I had around a career change. Thanks to the work we did, I gained better clarity over the direction I wanted to take and a better understanding of behavioural patterns I have at work, how to spot them and potentially correct them."
