Kevin Ross Cheesebrough, Captain USN (Ret), MS, PCC Kevin has over thirty-five years in leadership, twenty-eight in the United States Navy, which included the command of a nuclear submarine, and ten years in applied research development. During his last years in the Navy, as the Professor of Naval Science at Penn State University, he taught leadership and ethics to aspiring naval officers. Following his retirement from the Navy he held leadership positions at the Applied Research Laboratory, Penn State and SRI International, State College. Also, during this time, he was an adjunct professor at the Penn State, Smeal School of Business, teaching ethics for business managers. Kevin completed the Duquesne University Professional Coach Certification Program, in 2014. Since then, he has established his own coaching business (Kevin Cheesebrough Coach, Inc.) and is presently an associate Talent Development Coach with Lee, Hecht, Harrison, an external leadership coach for Penn State University and an independent coach for Franklin Covey. He is certified by the International Coach Federation at the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) level. His main emphasis is leadership/executive development coaching with a particular interest in developing emotional intelligence, mindfulness, and executive presence in his clients. Kevin holds a bachelor’s degree in nuclear engineering from Penn State and a master’s degree in management science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He resides in State College, PA with his wife Suzanne.
