Coachee not sure of coaches conduct

What should I do if I think my Coach is acting unprofessionally?

Your Coach has agreed to act according to a code of conduct - please see the coaching agreement HERE, and consider whether your Coach has breached this agreement.

For any reason, if you have a concern, please contact our Support Team on connect@boldly.app and we’ll arrange a conversation to understand your concern immediately.

If you believe your coach is acting unprofessionally, it's important to address the situation promptly and appropriately. Here are some steps you can also consider:

  1. Document the behaviour Keep a record of specific instances where you felt the coach acted unprofessionally. Note dates, times, and details of what occurred.
  2. Speak with your coach If you feel comfortable, have a frank discussion with your coach about your concerns. They may be unaware of how their behaviour is being perceived and might appreciate the feedback.
  3. Report serious misconduct In cases of serious ethical violations or illegal behaviour immediately without delay. We are here to support you, and in the unlikely event of a BOLDLY coach breaching their code of ethics, we will take swift and immediate action.

Your professional coaching relationship should be built on trust, respect, and clear boundaries. If these fundamentals are compromised, it's crucial to take action to protect your interests and ensure you're getting the support you need for your professional development.

Lastly, we always encourage you to trust your instincts. If something feels wrong or makes you uncomfortable, it's important to address it. Your well-being and professional growth should always be the priority in any coaching relationship.
