I am a certified Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coaching Federation and an executive leader with over two decades of experience in human resources, organizational design, and leadership development. My career has been spent working at the intersection of people, systems, and strategy, helping leaders navigate complexity, growth, and change in high-impact environments. In my executive role, I serve as Chief Talent Officer at a large philanthropic organization, where I lead enterprise-wide talent strategy, executive coaching, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness initiatives. I work closely with executive teams, senior leaders, and boards on topics including leadership readiness, managing scale and change, team effectiveness, culture building, and equity-centered leadership practices. This work keeps me deeply grounded in the real, day-to-day realities leaders face, from balancing people and performance to making decisions under pressure and uncertainty. Alongside my executive leadership work, I maintain an active coaching practice focused on supporting leaders through pivotal transitions. My clients include first-time people managers, senior leaders expanding their scope, and executives navigating increased visibility, influence, or complexity. Many of the leaders I coach are technically strong, values-driven, and high-performing, but find that what made them successful earlier in their careers no longer works in the same way as their responsibilities grow. My coaching approach is thoughtful, direct, and practical. I create a psychologically safe space for reflection while also challenging clients to translate insight into action. I do not offer prescriptive advice or generic leadership formulas. Instead, I partner with clients to surface patterns, clarify values, and experiment with concrete behavioral shifts that support clearer decision-making, stronger relationships, and more sustainable leadership practices. I draw from my background in executive leadership, systems thinking, and equity-centered practice to help clients understand how identity, power, and organizational context shape their leadership experience. Clients often work with me because they want a coach who can hold complexity without oversimplifying it, ask incisive questions, and support growth that is both human and results-oriented. Coaching engagements with me are grounded, rigorous, and forward-looking. Together, we focus on building leadership capacity that is adaptive, intentional, and aligned with the impact clients want to have in their roles and organizations.

Lorraine is a former engineer, part time stand up comedian, voracious tea drinker and wannabe race car driver. She is also a leader in the coaching industry as an internationally accredited Professional Certified Coach, and as the creator of the SWITCH Coaching System. Lorraine’s adheres to the International Coaching Federation’s Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct, and is also an accredited coach training provider through ICF. Lorraine has been a certified coach since 2006 and has spent the past almost two decades years coaching ambitious high-achievers, writing books and mentoring hundreds of other coaches to greater freedom and success. This led to her being hand-picked by the Emmy award winning media entrepreneur Natalie MacNeil to become Program Director at the cutting edge and global ICF accredited coach training provider Coaching Evolved. She believes that leadership with a coaching approach is what the world needs right now, and having previously led a team of engineers to creating an award-winning culture, she knows a thing or two about it. Senior Adviser to Women in STEM+ - Gotara Certification Program Director - Coaching Evolved Licensee and Main Organizer - TEDxKapiti 2022 The Coach Foundation Top Coach in 2023 Influence Digest has listed Lorraine in their Top 15 Coaches in Wellington in 2021 and 2023 What makes Lorraine different to any other coach that you will work with is her unique approach to coaching the client, not the issue. Most coaches focus on the problem that the client brings to the coaching conversation, exploring obstacles, setting goals and action plans and creating accountability structures, relying on assessments that label and pigeon-hole you into a specific category. Lorraine’s approach is truly focused on the unique human being that you are and makes success a side-effect of not fitting into a mould, but moulding the environment you are in, to suit you. Working with Lorraine means that your conversations shift from transactional to truly transformational, and clients often see results in minutes, not months. In order to get the best from working with Lorraine, you must be willing to be uncomfortable at times, and trust her process that goes far beyond mindset. Curious about working together? Let’s see if we are a good fit… I believe… That everyone deserves success by their definition. When they give themselves permission to be successful, it organically gives everyone else around them permission to do the same. We have the blueprint to success inside of us, however the decades of conditioning have blocked us from accessing it. Most coaches focus on the strategy of success, not what’s going on underneath. This goes far beyond mindset. I value… Agency- We have been told what and how to BE for as long as we can remember. Personal agency including financial security is my goal for every client I work with. Agency results in the flexibility and freedom that my clients crave. Resilience - Learning about yourself will give you the biggest gifts... ...if you stick with it. "Just keep going..." is my mantra. Things will go wrong, results will be unexpected, mistakes will be made. Experimentation - Embracing what we don’t know and diving into a mindset of curiosity rather than perfection is what keeps us in motion. Integrity - In a world of algorithms, aggressive marketing and hustle culture I stand as a beacon of honesty and transparency. Optimism - Nurturing a high vibe of hope and positivity keeps our mind open to focus on solutions and overcome challenges. I promise... I will treat you as an individual, not a number. I will be a role model, and embody my values. I will show you what you cannot see. I will say what others will not. I will champion you as you become who you were born to be.

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND I have over thirty years experience within a corporate environment as a senior leader and as a mentor and coach. I have run sales teams as a sales director within the IT sector as both a direct re-seller and as a VAR. I have led teams and organisations with an emphasis on servant leadership. I have built and sold my own business and have been privileged to have led and grown teams on behalf of other stakeholders. Since 2010, I have used my vast leadership experience to support organisations, and people within those organisations to aspire to be performing at their optimum. I have supported leaders to become truly fabulous leaders, leaders that are able to thrive in the 21st century where agility, creativity, mindfulness and the ability to serve their teams, their peers and the wider stakeholders is the norm. I coach clients that are: new to management those that are making the journey from first line managers into middle management those who are rising from mid management and into VP roles VP’s who are looking to become senior leaders and finally those that are practicing senior leaders but who aspire to be truly great leaders. Areas I partner my clients with might include: Delegation Strategic planning Communication skills Managing difficult conversations Creating the environment for effective feedback Transition from individual contributor to team leader. I support mid managers where we often work on transitioning from operational functions and as individual contributors, transforming them into people managers where personal, team and organisational interaction and presence is required. Servant leadership, where a shift from authoritarian styles of direction might be more favourable. Supporting leaders to manage effectively when leading cross functional teams and where the leader is required to lead teams where they have no direct authority. We often work on advanced communication abilities and executive presence when a mid-level manager wishes to break into a VP role, looking at both areas to develop and traits to let go of. And senior leaders who often work on changing old habits and techniques that no longer serve them so well and where they now aspire to become a leader with political, economic, social, technical, and environmental influence. Directing change for longer term success. COACHING PHILOSOPHY My approach to development is simple, I believe everyone has the capability to succeed, however it is sometimes the interference that prohibits our success. Quoting Tim Gallwey, author of the Inner Games series, "Performance = potential - interference". By working together, I can support you to reach your full potential by removing the interference that is stopping you reach your full potential.
Teri launched her own consulting practice in 1999 and now works with organizations to provide systemic team coaching and facilitation in the areas of strengths-based performance and leadership development.Teri is an expert in training and coaching using the StrengthFinder assessment and works with organizations to create a strengths-based approach to performance., leadership and team development. By revealing the ways in which each person most naturally thinks, feels, and behaves, leaders and their team members discover and build upon the areas in which they have the most potential to develop and succeed. Additionally, they learn to collaborate better, covering any potential weak areas by supporting each other. Every team is a system nested within other systems and can benefit from an outside perspective not colored by that system. Teri has a strong sense of purpose around reflecting both brilliance and blindspots back to the teams she works with, helping them own their contributions and continue improvement and growth. I came to coaching through twenty years of leading inside organizations — first as a Creative Director and Strategy Director in advertising, where I directed large cross-functional teams and learned, early, that performance problems are rarely skill problems. They are almost always relational, psychological, or systemic. That insight changed how I led. Eventually, it changed everything. Over the past decade I have built a coaching practice grounded in that organizational fluency — and deepened it through rigorous training in integral and somatic methodologies. I work with mid-level through C-suite leaders who are navigating something consequential: a shift in role, in identity, or in what the moment is asking of them. They come to me when understanding what needs to change is no longer enough — when insight has stopped translating into action, and something more fundamental needs to shift. My approach is developmental, somatic, and systemic. I work with the whole person — not only the presenting challenge, but the patterns beneath it: how a leader listens, how they hold pressure, how they show up in the room versus how they intend to. I am interested in the gap between those two things, and in what becomes possible when it closes. I served as faculty at Integral Coaching Canada for four years, mentoring and assessing coaches pursuing the profession's highest credential levels. That work — being inside the formation of other coaches — sharpened my own practice considerably. It also gave me a clear sense of what depth in coaching actually requires, and what it makes possible. In parallel with my private practice, I have held senior internal roles in leadership development — at CBC/Radio-Canada and most recently at Mila, the Quebec Artificial Intelligence Institute, where I designed and led the organization's inaugural leadership development pathway. These embedded experiences gave me something I consider essential: a firsthand understanding of what it means to develop leaders inside the complexity and constraint of real organizational systems, not only in the relative spaciousness of a coaching room. I work bilingually in English and French — not only as a language capacity but as a cultural one. My bilingual practice gives me meaningful reach into Francophone executive communities in Canada and internationally, where senior-level coaching in French remains genuinely scarce. What clients consistently describe is a coaching relationship that is both rigorously honest and deeply relational — one that asks them to look clearly at what is actually happening, and supports them in building the internal resources to respond differently. I am direct, warm, and unhurried. I hold high standards and genuine care in equal measure.
