As a People and Culture professional, certified coach, and experienced trainer, I am passionate about helping individuals grow into the best versions of themselves. My coaching journey began in 2020, when colleagues would often seek me out not just for HR advice, but for honest conversations about their growth, doubts, and next steps. Many shared that I listened differently, held space without judgment, and asked questions that made them think deeper. Since then, I’ve coached individuals from all walks of life, each with their own stories, struggles, and strengths. What energizes me most is witnessing the moment someone reconnects with their potential and steps into who they’re meant to be. With my background in HR, leadership development, and facilitation, I’m committed to walking alongside others as they grow with purpose and clarity.

In a nutshell: 15 years in the humanitarian sector mostly in top management, specializing in team empowerment and resource optimization within high-stakes environments. Now based near Bergamo, Italy, I continue my commitment to impactful change through individual coaching (my passion!) and climate-focused consultancy. In more details: As far as I remember, I had no idea where I was heading. With a generalist training from a French business school, I ended up working in a clutch factory, lost in an industrial polygon near the Madrid suburbs, which as a non-Spanish-speaker proved quite the experience. 2 years later, rather than getting promoted to an office job paving the way for a bright and respectable future, I joined the ranks of MSF (doctors without borders). Without notice, I got sent to Haiti while the earth was still shaking from the 2010 earthquake. A life-changing moment, on all levels. I experienced the field, the people, the thrill. 3 missions and a few security situations later, I went back to HQ in Paris. We then moved to Senegal for 5 years, participating in the rise of Alima (an MSF-like NGO). The day we got back to Europe as our 3rd child was close to join the family, I said “no more finance unless msf opens a great job in Barcelona”. 3 month later I started as finance director of MSF in Barcelona. Further away from the field, still close to people, but in need for more. During lockdown 2020, that urge materialized when I discovered deep-breathing… which led me to sign up for a master’s degree in emotional intelligence and coaching. How does coaching respond to my aspirations? It's at the same time a work of art (ritual, improvisation, flow), a balance (trust space, continuous self-learning) and a social commitment (one to one qualitative experience, pro bono, accompanying others). During sessions we create quality spaces, through trust and active listening: building these experiences is an exciting way to serve. I moved to Italy to write a new life chapter, during which I get back, through coaching, to the kind of excitement I felt at the beginning of my humanitarian path.

Life and coaching are both about change and transition. I’ve learned to help clients manage their most significant transitions because my life has been a continuous transition between languages, countries and jobs. When I was seven, I changed my primary language to Romanian. Then, when I was seventeen, I moved from Moldova to Romania. Later, I graduated from Finance and Banking, worked in sales, and managed teams. When I struggled as a manager, with 70+ hours weekly at work, I grabbed Daniel Goleman’s book, The New Leaders: Transforming the Art of Leadership, between the flights in Frankfurt. I didn’t know that it would change my life. This book was all about the power of coaching and how CEOs and C-suite executives were able to use coaching to achieve great results. Finally, I was convinced and told myself I needed to work with a coach too. After a while, when my manager asked me what I needed to be more successful in overcoming my struggles, that was the first thing I requested from him. Working with a coach was a bitter-sweet experience because I had to overcome resistance to change how I perceived the world and my work activity, which led me to realign my life to do the work I am passionate about. And now, I’ve become a coach to do precisely the same for my clients. I added coaching to my professional development six years ago and invested more than 600 hours into coach training and mentoring programs. Since then, I’ve worked with individual contributors, leaders and teams from different industries and countries to improve their work performance and well-being, communication and collaboration, make career plans, and complete career transitions successfully. In our sessions, you will use my skills—deep listening, reflecting back, making observations and asking questions—to acknowledge your strengths and move forward boldly towards your aspirations. It will be a journey where we both learn and discover those minor adjustments that can significantly impact how you experience life. I’ve drawn three essential words from my life experience – listening, trust and focus. Once I’ve learned to really listen to other people’s needs to build authentic, trusting relationships, I could focus on realistic and achievable milestones. When I am not coaching, I love reading, taking long walks in the park nearby and playing chess.
I am an ICF ACC professional coach and mentor who also enjoys working as a fundraising and communications strategist on bespoke projects for companies and non-profits. Through coaching, I support leaders, managers and teams in building self-awareness and accountability while uncovering and articulating what they need and want—even when this requires leaning into discomfort. I approach coaching as a collaborative partnership grounded in deep listening, mutual trust, and a shared commitment to learning and growth. Together, we explore deep inquiry which shifts perspectives and moves the client to thinking more clearly and acting more intentionally. My goal is to have every client leave our sessions feeling inspired and aware of just how resourced and capable they truly are. My journey to becoming a coach and mentor stems from a longstanding passion for nurturing high-performing, purpose-driven global teams. Over 15 years at the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP)—most recently as Head of Global Private Partnerships—I led teams to bring their fullest selves to both their professional and personal lives. This dedication to unlocking human potential is at the heart of my coaching practice today. I bring over 25 years of experience working in or alongside the private sector, with a strong focus on humanitarian and development contexts. At WFP, I built transformational, high-impact partnerships with global companies like Mastercard and DSM, and foundations like Gates. At the End Violence Investors Forum, I worked with government and private donors to increase funding aimed at ending violence against children and addressing online sexual exploitation and abuse. Earlier in my career, I worked in U.S. politics as a fundraiser for successful Federal and California State candidates. I later led philanthropic efforts as Chief of Staff to the founder of Esprit de Corps and managed cause-driven marketing and communications campaigns at Levi’s. At the boutique agency Grow Marketing, I designed experiential campaigns that brought global consumer brands into direct, meaningful contact with their audiences. I currently reside in Rome, Italy, where I continue to be inspired by Italian culture, language, and lifestyle. Outside of work, I’m passionate about travel, yoga, meditation, hiking, and enjoying really good food and great company.
