In 2020, I discovered what I was meant to do when I enrolled in my first Coach training program. Prior to this, I held a variety of positions in the sustainability sector, from project executive for a CSR initiative in an MNC, strategic consultant to NGOs to General manager in a social enterprise. Nonetheless, I could never find deep satisfaction for the impact I was making. Since there were so many parties involved in these jobs that were outside my control, I found myself burnt out and frustrated. I have always wanted something more impactful that can address the root causes of the issues humanity is facing and I can be solely responsible for generating this impact with who I am and what I have. Coaching enables me to turn my natural tendency into a skill set and process that creates a profound impact on a person’s life. After just one session, they undoubtedly feel more in control, but the partnership process is necessary to help them maximize their potential and become their best selves. The key factor that facilitates my transformation, surprisingly, is self-love. I wouldn't be able to overcome my own self-doubt, uncertainty, and outside criticism to make the tough decisions that ultimately lead me down a path that is genuinely soul-fulfilling if I didn't love myself. What stops us from embracing our dreams is rarely external circumstances, but the limiting beliefs we carry inside. Self-love is a verb, a choice, and a skill that can be mastered over time. At the end of 2020, I founded my own Coaching business, with a desire to spread positive change. If I can transform myself through self-love, I can replicate this process for my clients with Coaching. I’m proud to have helped hundreds of clients break free from social norms to practice self-love, commit to their own journey, shine as they are, and make an impact in their community.

Cheryl Richoux-Torres is an ICF ACC certified executive and leadership coach working with senior leaders, high-potential professionals, and C-suite executives navigating AI transformation, organizational change management, operational excellence, and career advancement. Her background is not advisory. Before coaching, she served as VP of AI Transformation inside a global enterprise — building AI strategy from scratch, identifying 128 AI use cases, deploying AI agents, and leading organizational adoption at scale. Earlier, she delivered over three million dollars in documented business impact across mergers and acquisitions, operational redesign, and business intelligence strategy, and was promoted to Vice President within three months of joining. That is the experience she brings into every engagement. Her credentials include an MBA, a Master's in Psychological Counseling, and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. That combination is deliberate: operational rigor without clinical depth produces execution without development. Clinical depth without operational grounding produces insight without traction. Her coaching integrates both. Her methodology centers on building the cognitive capacities that distinguish high-performing leaders — the ability to hold complexity, transfer insight across domains, and move from analysis to disciplined action. These are not automated. They are developed. Her coaching programs are structured to build those capabilities with measurable outcomes tied to real performance. She works with executives, senior professionals, and HiPo talent in organizations where performance expectations are high and conditions are moving fast.

I am a NeuroLeadership Institute-certified Brain-Based Coach, whose coaching methodology is grounded in neuroscience and brain-based solutions. Being an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credentialed by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) also gives my clients the confidence that my coaching practice is professionally and internationally benchmarked. I am also a Gallup-certified Strengths Coach and Genos-certified Emotional Intelligence Practitioner, so I have the expertise to facilitate Strengths and Emotional Intelligence assessments, debrief and coaching sessions and/or workshops. I'm particularly keen to journey with next-gen and emerging leaders, to support them in discovering, developing and defining their own leadership identities. I believe that it is this group of leaders who need the most support as they transition from being an individual contributor to a leader. While some have great mentors, it is important that our next-gen and emerging leaders find their own voices and leadership identities so that they can lead with clarity, authenticity and confidence. This is also where organisations can gain the highest ROI, by investing in our next-gen and emerging leaders early, as they have a longer run-way to impact those whom they lead. I'm also interested to partner with organisations to transform multi-generational workplaces into synergistic, inter-generational teams, especially at a time when the work place is becoming more demographically diverse and digitally driven. I believe that team or group coaching using the Strengths approach and/or Emotional intelligence will enable multi-generational teams to collaborate synergistically, embrace and navigate differences and stay engaged. I currently do 1:1 coaching and deliver workshops to equip leaders and managers with brain-based coaching competencies, emotional intelligence and Strengths-based leadership. Connect with me to explore possibilities for you and your organisation. Here are some testimonials from my clients: "Annie has a remarkable ability to ask exactly the right questions at exactly the right moment. She listens deeply and intuitively, gently prompting reflection in a way that consistently leads to powerful “lightbulb” moments. Her questions are layered and unobtrusive. She is quietly skilful in uncovering insights that are genuinely transformative. Annie helped me understand why I respond the way I do in certain situations. Where I once criticised myself for my reactions to specific people or triggers, her coaching enabled me to see the underlying patterns and CliftsonStrengths at work. This shift in perspective replaced self-judgement with clarity and self-understanding." "I really appreciate Annie for being able to create an environment of emotional and psychological safety that makes it easy for me to be open and reflective. I also deeply appreciated the thoughtful questions she asked as they helped me to process my experiences more intentionally and gain clarity on both my thinking and next steps. The conversation never felt rushed, and I left with a stronger sense of direction and confidence moving forward."

I'm an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC), CoachU Certified Graduate, and Career & Leadership Coach with over 20 years of experience working with people, leaders, and organizations. My career began in art direction and evolved into talent acquisition, workforce strategy, and advising senior leaders at organizations including Verizon, Dentsu, and Weber Shandwick. These experiences gave me a deep understanding of leadership, organizational dynamics, and the challenges of navigating change. Today, I coach leaders and professionals and my work focuses on career transitions, leadership development, self-awareness, and navigating complex decisions. I bring a human-centered, collaborative approach that combines curiosity, creativity, systems thinking, and practical business experience to help clients gain clarity, grow, and move forward with intention.

With a rich background in teaching, leading and training spanning over 16 years, I bring a wealth of experience in leadership, strategic planning, staff development, recruitment and retention. I approach coaching with a creative mindset, tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. Whether you're grappling with career dilemmas, returning to work, changing roles, seeking to enhance your leadership skills, or striving for a better work-life balance, I provide a supportive space to explore and overcome obstacles. I am a mum of two, work full-time and I understand what busy looks and feels like! Before becoming a coach I had coaching for 4 years and continue to have it on a regular basis. Coaching has seen me through life changes (including motherhood), career development and changes (middle leader to senior leadership) and strategic challenges. I have used coaching to make informed life decisions which feel authentic and meet my core values. In the day-to-day, coaching has become part of my toolkit for leading, managing and facilitating, prompting me think and reflect on how I show up at meetings, presentations and lead training. Now, I am a Director of Training working within a national organisation which support schools and Early Career Teachers in the independent sector. Coaching is an important part of my life and work and it is a privilege to work with clients and witness the change and development.
