Stephen Porges' work has highlighted how our nervous system's quality of regulation greatly influences our way of being. The autonomic nervous system (ANS) is activated by our subconscious assessment of safety, known as neuroception. This triggers either thriving and expanding or surviving and conserving energy states. Ideally, our nervous system should function optimally during a neuroception of safety and only briefly during a neuroception of danger. However, the fast pace, uncertainties, and stresses of life often leave us in an unsafe state for long periods, leading to ANS dysregulation. This can be the underlying cause of many chronic physical, psychological, learning, and behavioral conditions. When we have a neuroception of 'safe', we can take the risks of life and show up in a way that ultimately improves the psychological safety of the external environments we are a part of. Improved psychological safety results in work environments where teams feel included, able to speak up, challenge, be creative, and make suggestions for improvement. Research has shown that teams that rate their psychological safety as high are high-performing, productive, considerate of each other, collaborative, have a sense of 'we are in this together,' and have high retention rates. Change comes from a combination of purpose and awareness of our being and becoming. This is why I work with you to increase your awareness of your neuro-biology to restore our ANS regulation and integrate your habitual patterns and behaviours that may no longer be serving you. By continually becoming a better observer of yourself, you empower yourself to change the hold your past has on your life, allowing you to regain our agency and choice. I hold a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Management from Middle East Technical University (METU) and am certified as a CMA (Certified Management Accountant). Much of my work experience for the last 20 years consists of roles that I have held in international organizations namely, Arthur Andersen, Ernst & Young, Nestle and DS Smith. Within the past 17 years I have undertaken leadership positions, recently as CFO and as Chairman of the Board. I have benefited from the coaching tools in all areas of business such as inclusivity, engagement, performance, team culture and stakeholder communication. I received coaching for managers trainings throughout my roles as well as other leadership trainings. Coaching knowledge in leadership roles made a big shift for me and later I joined Adler International Learning and International Coaching Federation(ICF) to further develop my skills. I have been certified by Adler International as an ICF Coach since 2015. As I gained more experience in coaching, I felt the need to integrate Embodied Presence for deeper connection within my coaching practice. To learn and practice these skills I attended Mindfulness Coaching Program by Breathing Mind, accredited by ICF. Since 2019 I have been practicing Mindfulness Coaching and Mentoring. Currently I am accredited ICF ACC coach. Seeking to deepen my understanding and expand my toolkit, I pursued further education. In 2023, I successfully completed the Understanding the Brain: Using Neuroscience to Deliver Better Business Results certification program offered by the Wharton School. This program equipped me with valuable insights into the application of neuroscience in the business context. Additionally, my certification as an Emotional Intelligence Practitioner through Six Seconds has further empowered me to foster emotional intelligence in teams, workplaces, and individuals.

I am a former architect, now a certified coach practising in London (UK) and working with clients all across the globe. I primarily support female leaders working in male dominated industries in rising above the challenges they face - these can range from struggles with confidence in the workplace to navigating work life balance. My coaching experience has allowed me the opportunity to support women from a wide variety of professional backgrounds: from creative industries, non-profits and the public sector, and also entrepreneurs, freelancers and civil servants. To everyone else they appear confident, though inside their minds, their self-criticism puts pressure on them which causes such unnecessary stress.
