In/around 2003, executive coaching was introduced in the company I was working for, and it greatly supported my personal growth at work when I was at the time moved into a new regional managerial position to open the new office and recruit new staff to build new commercial portfolio for the company. It helped me clarify goals, identify resources and develop tactics to overcome hurdles and achieve results. I have over 25 years of corporate experience in multinational organizations across the aviation and tourism industries, in areas ranging from commercial and market development, government and regulatory affairs, strategic development and planning, operation management, to people development and succession planning. Including 15+ years working with C-suite and boards in global corporate development strategies, P&L ownership, government and regulatory affairs, organization development and change management. For three years I was the company appointed representative to the Aviation Policy Committee of an industry association in the APAC region. In 2014-15, I was the company secretary for the Marketing and Business Development Subcommittee of the 20-member board of the Hong Kong Tourism Board. Between 2020-2022, I have worked with start-up companies. I was Chief Strategy Officer of an education-technology start-up, and I was the Lead Consultant for a start-up airline advising the Board and the CEO on government affairs and corporate planning, and successfully obtaining the airlines’ first-ever air transport licence from the HK government. Since June 2022, I became a board member of a young Hong Kong NGO which envisions “a world where women and girls are empowered through sport”; and since June 2024, I became its Board Chair. Currently, I am Senior Advisor (APAC region) to a Series-D company headquartered in Norway which specializes in global market big data for the logistics industry. In 2020, I obtained a Diploma for Company Director from the Hong Kong Institute of Directors. In 2021, I completed the Financial Times Non-Executive Director Advanced Professional Diploma. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Birmingham, UK.
